For more than 20 years, Western Culinary Institute has successfully prepared students for culinary and hospitality careers. Originally started in 1983 by two local businessmen, what is now known as Western Culinary Institute quickly became the culinary school in the Portland, Oregon, area. The famous Le Cordon Bleu Programs are some of the best in the field. Whether you're looking for a career in Culinary Arts or Pâtisserie & Baking, Western Culinary Institute can help you achieve your goals. Our school is located right in downtown Portland and is close to many local amenities, including Portland's famous Pioneer Place, downtown Portland businesses, superb highway systems, and light-rail transit. Portland's downtown is abuzz with activity. Western Culinary Institute’s culinary program areas are taught by proven professionals who help to ensure that you get the hands-on experience and classroom training you need.
